   Dixieland Retrievers is proud to offer professional retriever training and handling at all levels of the Hunt Test Program. Additionally, we offer an excellent gun dog program.  

We believe our continuing success is due to the mentality that we take in our training methods. We look at each student as if they are the athlete and we are their coach. We maintain a very high standard of consistency in our daily training. It's through this consistency and repetition that our athletes become so successful. This not only gives our students the tools that it takes to compete in the hunt test games, but also makes them some of the most versatile gun dogs in the field today.  This goal cannot be reached without the proper attitude and equipment. We train our dogs on every possible hunting and testing scenario imaginable. We do this using some of the finest equipment on the market today. Safety and nutrition are also high on our priorities list, we are proud of our 10 years incident free record
